Challenges for an Entrepreneur in a Start-up Company
Abstract:
Mr. Cheng Wu and Mr. Ed Anderson have been both very
successful in the start-up/venture investment business.
In this seminar Ed will present what a venture
capitalist looks for when reviewing a business plan
from an entrepreneur and point out crucial elements of
a "good" business plan that attracts venture
investments.
Cheng will then cover the challenges facing an
entrepreneur in a start-up process from product
conception to initial team building, to execution of an
aggressive development schedule with limited financial
flexibility. He will identify common mistakes that are
often made by entrepreneurs with limited business
exposure.
As a bonus to this seminar we were also able to invite
Prof. Nan-xian Chen from Beijing University of Science
& Technology to share his advanced research in signal
processing where an innovative approach is under
investigation to map analog processing to digital
processing.
